There is a mighty revival of worship waving across our nation.

Beautiful melodies of pure, prophetic worship are rippling across social media streams, church websites, and over the airways of religious networks.  Often in the same locations, the manifest presence of Almighty God demonstrates His love with spontaneous healing and life transformations.  If the participants were interviewed of their takeaways, they would likely have one theme in common:

Jesus is calling us closer to Him–to know Him more intimately, not for our purposes but so we can display His love to the hurting world.

God didn’t call everyone to serve in the office of a prophet, evangelist or pastor.  But, He did call us to tell people the Good News (Mark 16:15); He did tell us to distinguish ourselves by how well we treat others (John 13:35); He did tell us to live in a way that glorifies the Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

In and of ourselves, these are impossible tasks.  Thankfully, His Grace empowers us to fulfill His mission.  He intercedes on our behalf and promised to be an ever-present Helper and Guide.

So, keep moving forward!

Scripture Reference:

Jude 1:20-25 (NIV)

But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life.
Be merciful to those who doubt; save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy—to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.
